Before moving to the DC area in 2014 I taught at Binghamton University for close to thirty years. I was responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate oboe students, coaching chamber music and teaching the occasional oboe methods class.

Starting in 1998 I also taught for ten years at the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts, a four week intensive summer program for high school students who were accepted into the school based on very competitive auditions. I was responsible for teaching private oboe lessons, giving daily master classes and coaching chamber music with high school students of the highest experience and ability levels.
